I would like to thank Matt for his start at fixing it, Jim for talking me through Spybot, and the internet for offering free programs such as SuperAntiSpyware Free Edition, AVG (Trial), Adaware, Spybot Search and Destroy, and CCleaner. Phew. I spent HOURS running these programs... Ridiculous.
In other news, while the super promised the management company a second time to call an exterminator for the pigeons and to install wire over the air shaft he did not. You can see the extent of the problem below. YUCK. Dirty. Noisy. Inconvenient.

How about we get a BB gun and/or a slingshot? Or you throw poison cheese outside for them? Pigeons are disgusting!
On a side note, apparently when you demolish a building in NJ you are required to bomb it for pests before you do so. However, in NYC you are not. So when you demolish a building there's this exodus of rats to the next abandoned building...disgusting.
Totally gross. I hate it!!! I wish I could harm them, but I figure opening the window lets gross things in AND they'd just fall down in the air shaft and died. I called again today. I really hope the landlord gets on it!!!
