Gorgeous Fabric

DailyCandy's email featured a company in Brooklyn that makes it fabric by hand. How beautiful is this design?

I have no idea what I would use it for though and likely can't afford it. Wall panels?

Beautiful. And hand-embroidered, too! That's crazy. What would you do with that? I would think wall panels, too.

Maybe upholstery? I feel like it might be too much to cover the walls with. Very beautiful though.

Can you imagine how much it must cost?

I was thinking decorative framed panels - kind of like little paintings. C&B does this for their decor stuff often and it looks pretty cool.

Or curtains or a duvet cover... Something to add some spice to solids otherwise featured. ;)

Or an accent pillow...or a square in a quilt! Crate & Barrel does some cool things that can very easily be handmade...anyone recognize these?

Dang I can't find the link but someone had taken tree branches and put flowers on the end of them and used them as centerpieces. C&B had white tree-branch centerpiece things in the spring I think...

Oh and P.S. hand- or machine-embroidery often doesn't hold up well over the long run especially designs that have those long threads on top of the fabric bc the threads get caught in things. FYI.

So framed panels or something that doesn't require cleaning or have the potential for spills is the best. Too bad I can't afford them in the first place.

I agree C&B has lots of good ideas for homemade professional looking stuff.
