Haha "The grace and beauty of the old South is discovered in this authentic Charleston bonnet. Every little girl will be admired in this exquisite bonnet made of Swiss Organdy to frame her face when she leaves the house. "
Oooh, I'll have to look through Gretchen's wedding photos again. I have requested Steel Magnolias for Mike to watch to learn about southern weddings...maybe we could watch GWTW, too. :) Here is the book I just finished reading that was really cute: The Wedding Machine. V, ignore the Women of Faith Fiction part- you can easily ignore those (small) parts of the book.
GWTW isn't exactly a wedding movie as much as an epic saga. I need to rewatch it after having read the book. I don't recall loving the moving with nearly the same passion.
It was in the new fiction section of the library. It had wedding in the title, so I had to read it! Yes, my wedding obsession extends to fictional accounts as well. Was/Am considering doing a search at the NYPL for Southern wedding fiction. I have no shame.

Very cute. I've heard of Southern bridesmaids using parasols...care to try it out?
I think Sarah would look adorable with a parasol!
Wouldn't she? Maybe I could find a bonnet to match...;)
Haha, I'm not sure about a bonnet. Can I see some pictures?
Here's one...
And another.

Gretchen already did the parasol and lace gloves (wrist-length)...
It looks like a seashell (yes, I saw it is supposed to and I got that before clicking through).
A bonnet like this?
And UG to both.
You don't want a bonnet and a parasol, Sarah?
Only if I have to... I already did this for Halloween in my childhood.
I don't think you'll get any candy this time around....
Then there isn't any benefit. If we are doing it might as well go full on Gone with the Wind too. None of this half ass stuff. ;)
Oh, Scarlett!
Still in love with that book! Jaime would have to be Scarlett though...

Haha, I wouldn't expect anything less than "Women of Faith" in a place where "Southern hospitality thrives"

I love you, Jaime, but where did you find that book?!
